"Love Hold Our Tomorrow"

"Love Hold Our Tomorrow"

Never thought we’d be here
In some place of last time
No words left to say
So just hold on to today

You spoke of fear and heartache
I didn’t know what to say
I spoke of steps and mountaintops
You smiled and said, “It’s OK”

For all we know
This may only be a dream
For all we know
The end not what it seems

So let’s hold on to this night
Close our eyes, open hearts

Pray tomorrow never comes
Let love hold this moment, just this moment
Let love hold our tomorrow

Love, hold this moment, this may only be a dream
Love hold our tomorrow…
The end not what it seems

(Love, hold this moment, let this be a dream
Love hold our tomorrow…)

Song Background Story:
Original lyrics were written Jan. 24 to reflect the end of a relationship...my own...the story of a last night together. The Vernal Equinox is significant to that relationship (our beginning anniversary and two other events in our shared lives).

As the music for this song was first being written by Hiroshi...a delay, March 11, 2011...forever a day to live on in the hearts of both Hiroshi and myself...the day of Japan's earthquake and tsunami...moments later here in the States my Mom's health crashed. Ironic how the music has an angelic sound near the end...I lost my Mom 3/20/2011, the Vernal Equinox.

The night before, the largest full moon I can ever remember...and I knew (that next day being Sunday-unable to get Hospice support)...it would be up to me to fulfill her last wish of going home to go Home.
Funny how life writes itself...
